Tableau Configuration Guide

Connect Tableau to Lytx fleet data using our Web Data Connector for powerful visual analytics and real-time dashboards.

Pre-requisites

• Tableau Desktop 2020.2 or later
• Modern web browser
• Lytx Data Connector credentials

Configuration Guide

1. Under the Connect navigation pane on the left-hand side, locate To a Server and select More…
2. Select OData from the expanded list of server sources.
3. Under Server, enter the connector URL:

   https://api.lytx.com/data/v1/odata-2

4. Under Authentication, select Username and Password.
5. Enter your credentials:
   • Username: DB_NAME/Your_Connector_Username
   • Password: Your_Connector_Password
6. Click Sign In to view the available data resources.
7. From the left navigation menu under Table, drag the relevant table or resource that you would like to import into the Drag tables here icon.
8. Now that the workbook is created, follow the steps from For existing Tableau Workbooks to import any other tables.
